Almost done
Today I held my final practice HypnoBirthing class - I just finished writing up my case study review and sent off all my materials for certification. In a few short weeks (assuming I pass my certification process), I'll be able to start teaching (and getting paid to teach) HypnoBirthing classes to the masses!
The class went by so quickly, it was almost sad! We got to the end and my practice pregnant lady said, "What?! That was so quick!" I felt the same way. We just blew through it all and then it was over! But now it's all done and I can move forward with certification, which is pretty exciting.
Between that and my two yoga teacher certifications (RYT and RPYT), I've already got quite a few avenues of income available to me. My goal, after all my debt gets paid off, is to quit teaching (that is a whole other post in and of itself) and finish my cosmetology license. I started a few years ago but wasn't able to finish in time due to trying to teach full time, too. But if I save up enough and have no overwhelming bills to pay, I should be able to attend cosmetology school full time and finish up. I'd also like my esthetician certification. Then I can really diversity and do a lot of things, making my schedule work for me and not feeling concerned about adhering to a certain schedule/set of rules.
In the meantime, I'm surviving being a teacher in the midst of a pandemic with kids who've been suffering academically for the past two years. I'm also trying to have a healthy pregnancy and keep my temper in check with my 17 month old, who is currently going through a sleep regression and behaving like a vicious demon at bedtime. I'm also trying to keep that temper in check with my husband, who leaves the lights on, drinks my water, and pees outside (which makes me irrationally infuriated).
Let's keep in touch. It's going to be a rough year.
